David Martinez
is chomping at the bit to get back in the ring.
Martinez will fight on the undercard of Holly Holm vs Mia
St.John with an opponent still to be named. Martinez, who had an
illustrious amateur career. And made his pro debut on June
1,2002.
This was a great year for Martinez he racked up six wins in six
months.
2003 he fought three times and in 2004 he fought for his first
Title when he won the California State Title he continued his
streak by defeating NABA Champ Alex Beccera for the WBC Youth
World Title.In 2005
Martinez tasted his first defeat at the hands of NABA Champ
Thomas Villa. It was Martinez’s first time on television and the
fight he Learned the most from. With the heart Martinez
displayed that night there is no doubt that Martinez will be one
of the New Mexico’s next world Champion.
Martinez,was born in Albuquerque,
New Mexico. His currently lives in Stockton, California.
He had a very good background in the amateurs, winning many
titles, and ranked nationally.
