and much anticipated cage debut of

Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm
KEITH “The Dean of Mean” JARDINE
UFC Veteran and Ultimate Fighter Season 2 star
Keith “The Dean of Mean” Jardine’s professional record is 16 - 9 – 1 (wins: 7 KOs, 2 Submissions, and 7 Decisions). Originally from Butte, Montana, Jardine came to New Mexico to obtain a degree in Human Performance and Sport from New Mexico Highlands University. Before taking up MMA in the late 1990’s, Keith realized he still wanted to compete at the athletic level. He stayed busy with rugby and wrestling tournaments despite not receiving any real grappling training. However, it wasn’t enough for Keith. In 2000, he started training with Greg Jackson.
It was August 2001 when he won his MMA debut by armbar over Amir Rahnavardi. Keith won eight of his first ten bouts. His first loss was to Travis Wiuff and he scored a draw to Keiichiro Yamamiya in Pancrase.
In the Ultimate Fighter Season 2, Keith Jardine was the first heavyweight to be selected by Coach Rich Franklin, and then triumphed by season winner and later stable mate - Rashad Evans in the semi-finals of the show. Keith had his first appearance on an official UFC fight card at The Ultimate Fighter 2 Finale, defeating fellow season two heavyweight Kerry Schall by TKO due to leg kicks. Keith Jardine was signed to the UFC and dropped down a weight class to the light heavyweight division. His next appearance was at UFC 57 where he defeated Mike Whitehead, another The Ultimate Fighter 2 competitor, by unanimous decision.
Keith Jardine hasn’t fought in New Mexico since 2004. However - make no mistake - Keith Jardine is putting in work daily at Jackson-Winkeljohn’s MMA gym. Jardine’s training regimen is rock solid; mitts with Mike Winkeljohn and ground with Greg Jackson. Keith Jardine’s next fight will be against Aron “The Poster Boy” Lofton with a notable record of 8-4 in the cage. Lofton is from Dallas, Texas and fights out of Triton Fight Center. March 4th 2011 will be a great opportunity for New Mexicans who haven’t been able to travel in the past to see, “the Dean of Mean” at work in the cage at the Route 66 Casino Hotel Legends Theater.

HOLLY “The Preacher’s Daughter” HOLM
Nine Time World Champion
Making her cage debut
New Mexico is the Land of Enchantment; home to beautiful sunsets, the International Balloon Fiesta and delicious green chile. Holm is New Mexico’s undisputed World Champion Boxer. Holly is the 29 year old southpaw from the Sandia Heights of Albuquerque. She's a preacher's daughter and grew up in Bosque Farms, New Mexico. She graduated from Manzano High School in 2000 and studied for a year at the University of New Mexico. Currently, Holly is a nine time World Champion. Holly is the best Pound for Pound female boxer in the world. Holm trains under Albuquerque’s own and world premier MMA coaches - Mike Winkeljohn and Greg Jackson.
March 4th will mark the next phase in her fighting career. Holly will be stepping into the cage for her debut against Christina “Machine Gun” Domke from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. “Machine Gun’s” professional record is 4-1; 2 wins by submissions and 2 by tko. Since turning pro in 2009, no female fighter made as much of an impact on the Wisconsin fight scene as Domke. Domke provided the Badger State with one of the nastiest knockouts of 2009. At the Route 66 Casino Hotel in March, Domke and Holm will bring an impressive set of credentials to the much-anticipated bout. A win for either fighter will likely put them in direct consideration for a Strikeforce contract. Is it safe to say, with Holly’s standup game, she wouldn’t rely on a submission? Or will she?
