In what’s expected to be an excellent fight,
regional favorites Hurricane hector Munoz and Carlos Madrid will
face off together on December 8, 2005 @ at Isleta Casino on the
Holly Holm and Mia St. John undercard. Munoz currently has a
record of 13 wins and only 1 loss. Along with his near flawless
record hector has 8 knock outs. Madrid has only five fights and
has a flawless record with 1 knock out.
|
Hector has a very technical style that has hints of
being a brawler and a boxer. Madrid has the old school
Mexican style of boxing. Munoz has more experience as a
pro and has fought more opponents than Madrid. The only
person to beat Munoz has been Bernardo Guereca, who
coincidentally trained out of the same camp as Madrid’s
current camp. While Madrid only has five professional
fights he has fought over three hundred amateur fights
in the US and Mexico. The match is one of the best of
the night and will go down as another Texas vs. New
Mexico war. |
 |
Madrid
feels that Munoz is still too green and has a record that is
fluffed up. “I like the guy but I know I can beat him” “states
Madrid”. The match will be one of several matches that night
that is expected to bring the house down. |
