of San Antonio, TX, will step up and defend his NABA Super
Flyweight Title against 2000 Olympian Jose Navarro 24-2 (11KO’s)
of Los Angeles, CA. This competitive brawl will take place on
the undercard of Evander Holyfield vs Fres Oquendo and will take
place at the Alamodome in San Antonio. This fight night will be
aired live on Fox Sports Net Pay-per-view and is being promoted
by M&M Sports and Real Deal Events. This action-packed event is
one of the biggest boxing events to hit San Antonio.
Elizondo is San
Antonio’s highest rated fighter and is coming off a win against
Trinidad Mendoza back in June 2006 in San Antonio, TX.
According to the WBA and WBO, Gabriel Elizondo is ranked #8 in
his division. This step in his career will be one step closer to
every boxer’s dream~ to reach the top.
The last time
Elizondo & Navarro met toe-to-toe in the ring was in the Olympic
Trials, where Navarro edged out Gabriel. Elizondo is looking to
make good on that day and is very excited about doing so in
front of his hometown. This is another step Elizondo’s career
to become a World Champion.
