Gets New Foe!

World-ranked Gabriel Elizondo, 20-1 (8 KO’s) will now
take on Felix Flores, 13-5-1 (11 KO’s). Flores, from
Columbia, will be headlining the “RISE TO POWER” card set
for La Villita this Friday night in San Antonio. Elizondo, who
is coming off an impressive victory over world-rated Caesar
Lopez in December, is now the NABA Champion. He has his sights
set on a World Title shot, but first he must take care of the
hard-hitting left-handed Columbian.
Elizondo was
originally scheduled to fight Benito Abraham 9-9-3 (6 KO’s), but
he pulled out claiming a hand injury. The event also features
some of San Antonio’s up-and-coming stars with almost a complete
line up from San Antonio.
The semi main
event has all the potential of stealing the show and will
feature Albuquerque’s “Hurricane” Hector Munoz.13-1 (6
KO’s) vs. Omar Davila, 15-5 (6 KO’s) of San Antonio.
Also on the
undercard, heavyweight Taurus “The BULL” Sykes, 23-2-1 (6
KO’s), from Brooklyn, NY will make his return against La Mesa’s
Dominic Jenkins, 6-4-1 (1 KO). Also featured is
world-ranked Alex Becerra who will take on Elvis
Martinez plus four other exciting bouts. Fresquez
Productions Inc. will be making its debut in San Antonio and is
looking to put on a tremendous show. This show will definitely
have a noticeable difference in competition.
