Inc. would like to take the time to thank all of the boxing
fans, supporters, Pueblo of Isleta, and Isleta Casino & Resort
for making our last three events sell-outs. We would especially
like to thank the boxers and their teams for putting on
spectacular performances. As for boxers, Holly Holm remains the
hottest ticket for boxing in New Mexico. She is becoming known
world-wide at a tremendous pace.
Critics like to say,
“You should be fighting here or there,” but that’s coming from
people who don’t understand the business. Sure, if we could land
a fight that would pay the kind of money that Holm makes in her
hometown, we would consider it. While she has the support of the
whole state, it just wouldn’t make sense.
We would also like to thank the fans, San Antonio's fastest
rising star Gabriel Elizondo, and Mr. Ursulo Perez for making
our debut there a successful one. We look forward to going back
to San Antonio in June to give the fans of San Antonio another
night to remember.
San Antonio fans are
very savvy, and will support boxing as long as there are good
competitive fights. That is what we are committed to doing in
both states-putting on good competitive fights. We have a busy
second quarter with fights scheduled for May and June in
Albuquerque, and also June in San Antonio.
We look forward to announcing our fights in the next two weeks.
These will definitely be action packed events.
